Schoorl is situated at the base of one of the most beautiful dune areas in the country, a surreal dune landscape of tranquility, views and nature. A dark silhouette rises in the middle of this landscape, a modern interpretation of a barn as a home on the farmland. The spatial arrangement of the dark volumes ensure that the house feels similar to a spatial puzzle of timeless materials and atmospheres.
